SMTP is an early stage start-up.  No formal business plan has been formulated yet.  Initially, the business objective is to partner with a small group of Angel Investors who :-

 

• have stock market trading experience and are dissatisfied with their results

• are not risk-averse

• have business development ideas for successful trading algorithms

The Angel Investor is asked to :-

​

• Observe the process to understand its' capabilities, anonymously if preferred.

• Verify SMTP performance using own account linked to Promoters

• Commit to developing a Business Plan

Building confidence in the trading algorithms is facilitated by free, unrestricted access to trading results.  No need for registration so anonmity is assured.

 

When an Angel Investor is satisfied with what they observe, they open an Interactive Brokers account,  This will be linked directly to Promotors account so trades can be replicted in real-time.  Again, The Promotor does not have access to funds in the Angel Investor Account.

 

Proceeds from Angel Investor IB accounts will then be used to buy shares in the "SMTP company".  These funds will be used for purchase of new equipment, access to better data sources and Promotor salary.

 

No exit strategy for investors is currently defined - suggestions are welcome.
